Tranont Review: Is Tranont A Scam?

Summary: I do not recommend joining Tranont. The cost is extremely high and not many people succeed in making their money back.

What Do I Recommend?
I've found great success in affiliate marketing and I learned everything I know from Wealthy Affiliate. And unlike Tranont, you can try Wealthy Affiliate completely free without ever giving your credit card info and get started building your own income generating website.

Perhaps the biggest concern that people have is whether or not Tronant is a pyramid scheme. Because of the pyramid nature of this company there is a large mix of positive and negative reviews online. You can go to their website at, but if you're looking for more unbiased research then continue reading this review. We'll cover how Tranont works, how much does it cost, and how much can you make working with Tranont.

The biggest question you probably have is whether or not you should invest in this opportunity. My recommendation would be no. However, you may want to know more about this company and why I don't recommend them. I have found a few things that you should know before making a decision on trying Tronant.

One of the most important is that there are several different fees associated with this business and how they can work to your advantage or disadvantage. For the high cost alone it's worth reading this review to determine whether you want to continue or not.

But if you really want to make money online, there's a free resource that you can join now without any financial commitment and it's my number one recommendation.

About Tranont

The primary question you probably have here is what actually is Tranont? It is an MLM, which stands for multi level marketing, but it is quite different than most MLMs you may have heard of. Most MLMs are in a certain industry and they only sell products within that industry, but that is not true here.

Instead, Tranont sells a variety of products that are unrelated. There are health products as well as financial products. Usually companies will be in one of these industries but not both.

Tranont is a US company and was founded by a man named Lorne Berry. You may have never heard of Lorne, but he actually has a bad reputation in his previous business dealings.

Even though he has a company in the financial industry, he's actually declared bankruptcy in the past after racking up almost a million dollars in debt. This is the first red flag that this may not be the best businessman to get involved with.

Does Tranont Have Good Products To Sell?

If you're going to do well with Tranont or any other MLM for that matter you're going to need good products to sell. Are the products offered by Tranont good and are they priced too high? Let's look further. The products can be split into two categories, finance and health. Tranont has nine health related products. Seven of these are individual products and the other two are bundles. They also offer eight finance products. Six of these are bundles and the other two are individual products.

  • Health: There are a number of health products on sale, with these mainly being health drinks. They are pretty expensive though and other MLMs are known to have similar products for a cheaper price.
  • Finance: Tranont also sells several financial services, including estate planning, tax help, identity theft protection, and credit services. They are split up into various separate bundles. The most common of these is the Business Smart Package. The Business Smart Package contains all of these services.

But the big question is whether or not Tranont's products are worth it. And the answer is no, they're really not. The finance products are really sketchy considering these are not licensed financial advisers and most people will be skeptical buying financial products from people who do not have a license to advise them on these subjects. Likewise, the health products have not been approved by the FDA and again, this makes selling these products very hard.

More About Tranont's Products

As I mentioned, there are two separate areas of products offered at Tranont. Again, having various categories is not uncommon for an MLM company, but for them to be so different from one another is not normally seen.

Let's take a closer look at the types of products Tranont has in their health package:

Tranont Health Products

This is their health builder pack, which contains several health drinks that promise to improve your health in different ways. These drinks include Vibe, Life, ICARIA, Balance, and Restore.

And the products at Tranont are quite expensive. ICARIA itself goes for $89 and that's only a 30 oz. amount. They suggest you use 1 oz. daily so that's $89 for a 30 day supply.

In the area of finance the products available are credit services, tax services, identity theft, and estate planning.

They have all of these combined into a Business Smart Pack for $59 a month.

What are the costs of joining?

When joining most MLMs there usually are not a lot of costs involved in getting started. Compared to the normal business startup it's extremely low cost to join an MLM and start earning. Physical store locations typically have a better result than online businesses but they also several thousands of dollars to start.

The cost to get started with Tranont are not nearly this high, but it is still very expensive compared to most other MLMs. The catch with it is they have a bunch of fees that are necessary to sign up and keep your membership active. Some of those fees are listed here:

  • Application Fee:  When you sign up with Tranont, you will have to pay $99 as an application fee. According to the company this fee weeds out applicants who may not be serious about selling but instead are looking for discounts on the products.
  • Monthly Membership Fee: There is a monthly fee of $25 to access Tronant's support and tools.
  • Purchasing Products: Associates must subscribe to different products on a monthly basis. This will vary based on the products they are selling. For instance, the health package is  $150 a month, and the Finance products could be $125 or up to $250 a month.

With the different products there are different fees and depending on which ones you choose the costs could start to mount very fast. A person choosing to join Tranont could end up spending thousands of dollars a year just to  stay part of the company and if you can't sell enough to cover all these fees it obviously isn't worth it.

How Much Can You Earn At Tranont?

The structure of the commissions here is very complex. As with almost all MLMs, associates are incentivized to recruit people to become associates. The people that they recruit are called their “downline” and they will earn a commission off of the sales from anyone they bring to the company on top of whatever products they are able to sell themselves.

Tranont's compensation chart can be difficult to understand. It shows several different plans for generating commissions and not every product gets commissions. Any products that do get commissions are given a PV value, which stands for personal volume.

Is Tranont A Scam?

This chart is only one compensation chart of many shown in their Policy Manual. Associates who meet the sales goals and maintain their active status will qualify for different levels of commissions. To keep active status you will have to get 100 PV each month and make sure all monthly or yearly membership fees are paid.

Is Tranont a Scam?

With the ridiculously high membership fees and product costs a lot of people may think that Tranont is definitely a scam. But I wouldn't necessarily classify it as one. Although there is a lot of evidence to suggest being skeptical of an MLM that costs this much is a good idea, I don't think it fits the definition of a scam. But there are a ton of cons when looking at this company.

Tranont is up front with what the costs are here. They don't try to trick you into signing up and then charge hidden fees. Everything is agreed to in the beginning. If this were a scam there would be some kind of shady business practices aimed at misleading people to sign up and pay lots of money. Tranont may be a bad deal, but they are giving you all the information when you sign up.

In reality, I think this is just a high risk opportunity that will not be the best way to make money online for most people. You could pay a lot of money up front and struggle to sell products and be out of your entire investment. As MLMs go, there are also cheaper options to consider joining.

Since it is an MLM and since it is so expensive, many will assume that Tranont is a pyramid scheme as well, but I really don't classify it as this either. Even still I do not recommend joining this program. There are numerous other ways to make money online, whether it's multi level marketing or affiliate marketing  or other opportunities. The costs are too high and there are more risk free ways to build a business online.

Personally, I have found more success and less risk with affiliate marketing. If you want to learn how I became an affiliate marketer and make a full-time income online then check out my recommendation for working online.
